Secondo uno studio dei ricercatori della Kingston University lasciare il letto sfatto la mattina permetterebbe a lenzuola e materasso di asciugarsi dall'umidità della notte, uccidendo così un numero molto più numeroso di acari. 
Questo gioverebbe non solo alla pulizia totale della casa ma anche al miglioramento del benessere delle persone che in quel letto ci dormono.
E visto che lo dicono gli scienziati, perchè non dargli retta? Spesso un disordine studiato è più bello da vedere che un algida perfezione... lo sanno bene gli utenti di Pinterest che negli ultimi anni hanno assistito ad un invasione di foto di letti sfatti e disordinati.

The bed under the window

Eccomi tornata dal torpore indotto dal caldo esagerato di questi ultimo mese! 
Questa mattina fa freschetto e pioviggina e i pensieri, finalmente, tornano ad avere una forma :)

Ultimamente mi è capitato di notare, in trasmissioni americane o canadesi sulle ristrutturazioni, che in questi paesi hanno un modo molto particolare di arredare una camera da letto, molto differente dai nostri canoni.
Parlo ovviamente dei letti messi nella parete della finestra, con la luce che fa quasi da testata al letto.
Da noi è impossibile, o quasi, vedere una sistemazione del genere, la finestra deve poter essere facilmente accessibile ed apribile. E' una questione pratica, ed effettivamente è più comodo avere la finestra libera piuttosto che dover scavalcare il letto tutte le mattine per cambiare aria alla camera. Eppure mettere il letto così, attira subito il colpo d'occhio e rende piacevole ed armonica la vista della stanza!



I'm back from the torpor induced by the exaggerated heat of these last month! This morning is chilly and drizzling and thoughts, finally, once again have a form :) 

Recently I happened to notice, in American or Canadian broadcasts on restructuring, which in these countries have a very particular way of decorating a bedroom, very different from our canons. I speak of course of the beds placed in the wall of the window, with the light that makes almost from head to bed. Here it is impossible, or almost, to see such an arrangement, the window must be easily accessible and openable. It 'a practical matter, and indeed it is more convenient to have clear window rather than having to climb over the bed every morning for a change of air to the room. Yet put the bed so, immediately attracts the glance and makes it pleasant and harmonious view of the room!
