Tra le richieste di consiglio che mi sono arrivate la settimana scorsa, una mi ha colpito in particolare. Una futura mamma, in casa in affitto, si ritrovava un divano e una poltrona in pelle scura che odiava con tutta se stessa, che non centrava con i suoi gusti sull'arredo, che non avrebbe mai e poi mai scelto. Ma quelli erano gli arredi della casa e così se li doveva tenere. Inizialmente aveva provato a ricoprire il divano con un grosso telo nero, ma il risultato non era soddisfacente. Mi chiedeva così come potesse migliorare, anche di poco, la situazione.

Il primo consiglio che le ho dato è di far sì che divano e poltrona non venissero coperti, ma addobbati con plaid, appoggiati sopra o vicino e soprattutto con cuscini. Le ho consigliato anche di svuotare molto il mobile della sala, di lasciarvi sopra pochi oggetti ma di design o significativi per la famiglia. Il risultato è stato davvero notevol... giusto ieri sera mi ha mandato le foto della sala rivista!
Preso questo spunto, ho deciso di farlo diventare l'argomento della settimana, abbiamo visto su facebook come un divano simile potesse adattarsi tranquillamente a stili molto diversi, ho lavorato su abbinamenti con cuscini su instagram, anche con l'appuntamento fisso della Rubrica Budget, Infine vi ho mostrato che un divano del genere non è adatto soltanto ad una casa, ma puù essere molto ben collocato anche in un ristorante o in un hotel.
Insomma, parliamo di un oggetto senza tempo, che non va nascosto o messo in un angolo coperto, va esaltato. Perchè in un progetto vincente, sono proprio i difetti (o quelli che riteniamo tali) a dover essere messi in buona luce!
