Nella mia casa perfetta la camera da letto è ampia e spaziosa, i termosifoni in ghisa appoggiano direttamente al pavimento in parquet posato a lisca di pesce, e appena prima della porta di una enorme cabina armadio c'è una vasca da bagno con piedini e uno sgabello al fianco per appoggiare soffici asciugamani riscaldati. Nella realtà la mia camera da letto è essenziale e risicata, ma ho un amica che abita in un condominio degli anni quaranta circa, quando le camere da letto le facevano enormi, con soffitti altissimi e il legno predominava come pavimento. Ecco lei, che è architetto, sta lavorando al progetto di aggiungere la vasca da bagno in camera! E da lì è partita la mia fantasia, anche se purtroppo esclusivamente quella!
L'idea della vasca in camera è spettacolare, i nostri bagni ormai sono sempre più funzionali e orientati alla doccia, più veloce e comoda per lavarsi ogni mattina prima di correre freneticamente al lavoro. Ed è difficile, in appartamenti sempre più piccoli, avere un bagno con vasca e doccia insieme. La vasca, diciamocelo, ormai serve solo come elemento di relax, di sicuro non per l'igiene, e quindi quale posto migliore della camera da letto? Riusciremo a mantenere il bagno funzionale, avremo però la nostra oasi per il riposo mentale e renderemo molto caratteristica la nostra camera da letto.
Sicuramente è un progetto ambizioso e costoso, dovrete appoggiarvi ad un professionista per evitare danni futuri ed imprevisti. Inoltre la vasca in camera deve essere caratteristica, magari di design, e ovviamente questo inciderà sul portafoglio del progetto. Ma al di là dei costi e dello spazio necessario, non trovo nessuna buona ragione per non applaudire senza ritegno ad un progetto simile.
Poi, ammettiamolo, una scelta del genere non può che migliorare anche la vostra vita di coppia, cosa c'è di meglio di un bagno di bolle condiviso col vostro partner nell'intimità della vostra camera da letto? Ricordatevi di comprare un infinità di candele e dello spumante per il vostro primo bagno insieme!
Avessi la possibilità di spazio per procedere con un progetto del genere, mi butterei a capofitto! Se non riuscite ad immaginare come potrebbe stare una vasca da bagno in una camera, guardate le foto di ispirazione che inserisco qui sotto! Ne sarete rapiti...
