No holidays, but rest
Quest'anno niente ferie, ma il mio cervello ha deciso di mettersi comunque un po a riposo... vi lascio le immagini di due oggetti a forma di gatti, per rallegrarvi la settimana!

Postcards
Mio marito colleziona cartoline da sempre, e da quando abbiamo iniziato a viaggiare insieme, abbiamo continuato questa sua tradizione. Dopo diversi viaggi e viaggetti tra gli States e l'Europa abbiamo pensato a lungo a come esporre questa collezione! In un primo momento avevamo pensato di usarle per decorare una parete vuota della camera da letto, poi per ricoprire una piglia nel disimpegno. Ma per quanto queste soluzioni ci piacessero non ci soddisfacevano del tutto, soprattutto per quel senso di disordine che avrebbero, in qualche modo, dato all'ambiente.

My husband collects postcards from always, and since we started traveling together, we continued this tradition. After several trips and little trips between the States and Europe we have long thought about how to expose this collection! At first we thought to use them to decorate an empty wall in the bedroom, then to cover a seize in the hallway. As these solutions they liked there discerning of all, especially for the sense of disorder that would, in some way, since the environment.

My husband collects postcards from always, and since we started traveling together, we continued this tradition. After several trips and little trips between the States and Europe we have long thought about how to expose this collection! Alla fine abbiamo trovato una foto che ci ha fatto pensare, e da quella foto abbiamo scovato altre versioni della stessa idea! Un unica grande cornice con dentro sistemate in ordine tutte le cartoline che avevamo.
Ecco le immagini che abbiamo trovato per la rete!
At the end we found a picture that made us think, and that picture we found other versions of the same idea! A single large frame with inside placed in order all the postcards that we had.

Avevamo quindi deciso! Ora il problema era trovare una cornice con una dimensione del genere, dopo varie ricerche siamo giunti alla conclusione che l'unica soluzione era quella di farsela fare su misura, e il costo ovviamente lievitava! Abbiamo quindi trovato una cornice più piccola, che conteneva solo metà delle nostre cartoline e l'abbiamo montata e appesa in sala. Appena possibile faremo fare la cornice su misura, nel frattempo ci accontentiamo di questo strano modo di addobbare le pareti di casa :)
We had decided! Now the problem was to find a frame with a size like that, after much research we came to the conclusion that the only solution was to have it tailored, and cost leavened of course! We then found a smaller frame, which contained only half of our cards and we mounted and hung in the room. As soon as possible we will make a custom-made frame, meanwhile we settle for this strange way to decorate the walls of the house :)

Indoor Window Garden
Come detto più volte in casa ho due finestre con davanzali veramente minimi e in stanze poco propense alla crescita delle piante. Una è in bagno, ambiente eccessivamente umido, l'altra in cabina armadio, stanza eccessivamente calda d'estate e troppo fredda d'inverno.
Quindi queste foto me le salvo e me le guardo per mio solo piacere personale, perchè un giardino inventato così rende unico e speciale qualunque appartamento.
Godetevelo voi che potete!
As mentioned several times in the house have two windows with sills really minimal and in rooms reluctant to plant growth. One is in the bathroom, excessively humid, the other in dressing room too hot in summer and too cold in winter.
So these photos me and save me I look just for my personal pleasure, because a garden, invented so, makes it unique and special any apartment.

Guest Towels
Creare un angolino nel bagno che possa accogliere gli ospiti in maniera graziosa è un dovere!
Vi è mai capitato di andare a casa di amici e di dovervi lavare le mani? A quel punto cosa fate per asciugarvele? Usate gli asciugamani giornalieri dei padroni di casa? Un gesto carino da parte degli ospiti di casa è quello di fornire dei piccoli asciugamani "usa e lava", in questo modo l'ospite è coccolato e il padrone di casa avrà i suoi asciugamani ancora privati.
Qui sotto il mio angolino ospiti e qualche idea da cui prendere spunto.
Create a corner in the bathroom that can accommodate guests in a graceful manner is a must!
Did you happen to go to a friend's house and having to wash your hands? Then what do you do to dry? Use the towels daily hosts? A nice gesture by your hosts is to provide small towels "use and wash", in this way the guest is pampered and the landlord will have their towels still private.
Below my corner guests and some ideas from which to take inspiration.

Balcony Garden
In casa abbiamo due balconi, uno è verandato e funge da cameretta per i gatti e da lavanderia contemporaneamente! Oltretutto ha un grosso armadio a muro, quindi è diventato pure uno sgabuzzino...
Il secondo balcone è fatto a L, frontalmente è abbastanza profondo e lungo più di sette metri, qui abbiamo posizionato un salottino e un tavolo con sei sedie per mangiare d'estate, al fondo gira e si rimpicciolisce notevolmente, diventa profondo poco più di un metro e lungo quattro metri e mezzo.
In questo piccolo spazio, rivolto a est, con la luce dolce della mattina e l'ombra rinfrescante del pomeriggio, vorrei creare una sorta di giardino. Intanto ho già posizionato alcune piante e alcuni vasi, c'è già il limone, regalo di compleanno di alcuni amici, la lavanda e il rosmarino. Inoltre ho già piantato pomodori, basilico e carote.
Sto attendendo i tempi giusti per mettere a dimora sedano, cipolle, peperoncini e una bella pianta di rose, che comprerò già alta.
Vorrei inoltre coprire l'unità dell'aria condizionata al fondo con delle cassette di legno impilate, che si trasformeranno in una sorta di mobiletto, e da una sdraio, la più piccola che troverò, per potermi godere il sole del mattino il sabato e la domenica.
Vorrei anche mettere delle lucine sul corrimano per rendere questo piccolo angolo un luogo fatato.

In this small space, facing east, with the soft light of morning and the cool shade of the afternoon, I would like to create a kind of garden. Meanwhile, I have already placed some plants and some vessels, there is already lemon, birthday gift a few friends, lavender and rosemary. Also I planted tomatoes, basil and carrots.
I'm waiting for the right timing to be planted celery, onions, peppers and a beautiful rose bush, I will buy already high.
I would also cover the air conditioning unit at the bottom with wooden boxes stacked, it will become a sort of cabinet, and a deck, the smallest that I will find, in order to enjoy the morning sun on Saturday and Sunday.
I would also like to put the lights on the handrail to make this little corner a place enchanted.

Ironing board idea
Questo we ho stirato! E' una roba che non faccio praticamente mai, ma i vestiti stavano incominciando ad invadere lo spazio vivibile della casa e ho dovuto piegarmi a questo infame lavoro. Da questa brutta esperienza settimanale ho ragionato sulla tavola da stiro e sul ferro, su dove tengo il materiale, sul fatto che non sono proprio belli da vedere! E ho cercato ispirazioni su internet, per mascherarli o nasconderli, o semplicemente per renderli belli da vedere, questa è la mia selezione ...
